Where is FC Malaga city located?
Both our male and female programmes are located in Marina Del este, Almuñecar in the south of Spain. Our Head Office is located at Puerto Marina del Este, La Herradura, Granada 18697.

Where do our academy players stay at?
The players stay at a privileged location in La Herradura (Almuñécar), in the Marina del Este leisure port. This picturesque enclave is nestled between the sea and the mountains, boasting a unique design that seamlessly integrates the docks with natural rocky outcrops.
Do players share rooms?
We have a shared room policy for players who are 16 years old and younger, which we see as an important part of the integration process allowing players to find their feet quickly and encouraging social integration.
What aged do you accept in your academy?
We accept players from ages 14 and above for our mens program and from ages 16 and above on the female program.
What does a typical week consist of?
Whilst the individual events may vary, a week here at FC Malaga City is quite consistent in terms of football. An intensive combination of on the pitch football and off the pitch strength and conditioning grants our players the opportunity to grow as players! With our full time professional environment, our players will have the opportunity train and live the life of a professional footballer!
How many players do you have per team?
We keep our squad size at approximately 22-25 full time players per squad.
Will I get scouted by professional teams?
At FCMC we are always extremely honest on the difficulty in signing at the professional level and the fact that these opportunities are completely merit based. As a club, we will do everything in our power to ensure that each player is provided with all of the tools that they need to be succesful, as to where that takes them is completely down to the individual. Our club ethos is ¨treat everyday like an interview¨.

Are there scholarships available?
As a private institution, we are unfortunately currently unable to offer scholarships to players in our full-time residential programs however we do pride ourselves on being one of the most affordable private international academies in the world.
How do I pay the fee?
Here at FC Malaga City we are only able to accept payments through international bank/wire transfer.
Are there payment plans available?
Yes! Our full season plan is broken down into 4 payments over the span of several months. The half season plans are broken down into 3 instalments. We strive to make our program as affordable as possible for players and families alike!
Do academy players have access to a GYM?
Yes! At FC Malaga City, we have our own private gym available to both male and female players. All academy players have free and unlimited access to the gym 7 days a week, from 9:00 AM until curfew.
What support is available for players?
We have an extremely dedicated back-room staff here at FCMC complete with player liaisons, logistics managers, accommodation staff, and support staff. Rest assured that your son/daughter will be well looked after here in Spain!
How many staff do you have?
We have over 30 full and part time staff here at FC Malaga City and our dedicated team will be on site to welcome you to Spain and be with you throughout the duration of your stay!
Is airport transportation provided?
Transportation is provided by the club on select days throughout the season, based on arrival and departure dates. These dates are detailed in your official letter of offer.
Please note that players attending the program on a one month camp, or player visits, DO NOT have transportation included.

What do I need to be considered?
In an application, we ideally need both a Football CV and highlight video to properly assess your application! We do also host visits and camps in order to get a full assessment on future recruits.
What happens after I apply?
After you apply you will receive correspondence from our club that your application is being processed and assess by our talent recruitment staff. From there, you will receive further communication from the club over the following days as to the status of your application.
Where do you recruit players from?
We recruit players from all over the world! With over 50 countries represented last season, FC Malaga City is truly a global academy!
How do I get a visa?
Once you have signed with the club and paid your deposit payment, you will be put in touch with our immigration specialist who will assist with the visa process.
Do I have to take a Spanish class?
All Non-EU players, are advised to enroll in our intensive language classes which are organised alongside our full-time football program. This course is needed in order to qualify for the student visa which allows Non EU players to stay for programs in excess of 3 months.In an application, we ideally need both a Football CV and highlight video to properly assess your application!
